Master Slider (slideshow)

A slideshow/slider plugin that you can add to your posts/pages

All plugins require some set up on your part, but MasterSlider may be easier to use than most.

Master Slider is a free plugin. A Pro (paid-for) version is available if you want videos and other features.

Master Slider (and other slideshow plugins) use something called “shortcodes”.

Shortcodes look like this: [ masterslider id="1" ]minus the spaces! If I removed those spaces here a slider would show instead, as shown below. Spaces in your shortcode will make the code fail.

The page you are viewing now, uses the special template to show a slideshow at the top of the page above the title of the page.

To add sliders within the post/page, like below, you do not need to download this template. Simply download the Master Slider plugin, create a slideshow, and then paste the shortcode into the editor.

Most advanced editors also come with similar slider/slideshow. Go here to see a slider in action on the WP Bakery demo page.
